Delivery Terms and Fees
1. Delivery Charges
Johannesburg, Pretoria (Central) FREE Delivery for all orders over R750.
Orders under R750 (after any discounts) will be charged a R60 delivery fee.
All other Areas
For all regional areas not specified above, products will be charged according to their weight, which is calculated upon check out
For example the shipping on a 8-12kg order will be charged at R100

2. How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to delight our customers by delivering our orders in the quickest possible time.
Most of our deliveries to major centres take place within 72 hours. As a result of the Covid-19, please allow an additional 2 working days (5 working days in total) for all orders to be delivered in the Western Cape and Gauteng; and 7 workings for Kwazulu-Natal.
For remote and outlying areas please allow up to 5 working days for your delivery to reach you.
Should a product you have ordered be:
- Temporarily unavailable, we will notify you thereof as well as the anticipated delay in delivery and, unless you agree to wait for such longer period for delivery, or accept delivery of another product instead, Gourmet Vet will issue a refund in respect of that product to you or give you the option for a credit voucher to an amount equal to the price paid for the product (plus any additional charges applied**).

3. Delivery Times
MONDAYS – FRIDAYS: 08h00-17h00
4. Late Deliveries
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECT Act”) entitles you to cancel your purchase within 7 days’ notice if the products you have purchased are not delivered within the agreed delivery period as specified in the our Delivery Policy, if
- The products are not accepted and returned with the courier upon delivery; or
- if already received, returned to Gourmet Vet in their original state.
All order cancellations must be done via the Gourmet Vet customer services team by calling 082 837 8801or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then refund you as per our refund policy.
